Assist the customer by exercising overall responsibilities for developing and implementing internal unit training provided to deploying brigade and division battle staffs to effectively employ counter-IED solutions, assist deployed forces in analysis of counter-IED operations, and proactively assist in identifying and addressing counter-IED capability gaps.


 


Develops, coordinates, disseminates and supervises the execution of training resources; operates training facilities; and visual information systems throughout their life cycles; coordinates, executes, supervises, and manages the training conferences and competitions; and plans, resources, directs, monitors, and evaluates on-site training provided to US, Joint, Coalition, and Allied military forces, including civilians and contractors, as directed. 


 


Develops and/or implements short-, intermediate- and long-range (five years or longer) plans for the Training Team.  Determines manpower assets to be dedicated to each task or function.  Plans, estimates, justify and manage a high-dollar budget for the Training Team.  Directs the accession of military personnel through the military personnel management system.  Initiates or approves requests to recruit to fill vacant Training Team positions, and either makes or approves the selection of applicants to fill key positions.  Directs or approves recommendations to improve operations or services provided by the Training Team or to reduce operating costs.  Makes final decisions on correcting operating problems detected or presented by co-workers, including those with higher echelon impact or interest.  Develops or approves performance standards for Training Team personnel, and serves as final rater or reviewer, as appropriate.  Participates with the Training Team via the exercise of a full range of personnel actions and organization design proposals developed to improve efficiency or reduce costs within the Training Team.


 


Experience Required: 10-20 years


 


Security Clearance Requirements:  TS/SCI


 


Education & Training: Bachelor's


 


Special Skills/Knowledge: Must travel to various customer sites in CONUS.
