Office of Personal Identity Verification Office (PIV)
The PIV program is a mandatory, Government wide standard for secure and reliable for of identification issued by the Federal Government to its employees and contractors. The PIV Program is required by Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD) 12 and outlines in Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201.
Position:
Program Specialist - GS-301-07 This is an entry level position in the PIV office located in Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Office, Washington DC. The employee will serve as a Registrar or Issuer. Duties would include, but are not limited to: entering data for PIV card processing, conduct fingerprint process, confirm validity of data.
We are looking for energetic individuals with strong customer service backgrounds.
Veterans preference eligible or veterans who have been separated from the armed forces under honorable conditions after at least three consecutive years of active duty may also be considered.
