Job Title:  Applications System Engineer

<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" class=MsoNormal><STRONG><span style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">***A&nbsp;DoD&nbsp;TS/SCI&nbsp;GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION***</span></STRONG></P> <P><br><br>Applications System Engineer will manage a deployed application, e.g., SeaPort, that operates on both Unix Database Servers and Windows J2EE Application Servers on multiple networks (6) for the purposes of:<br>•&nbsp;Account creation.<br>•&nbsp;Security monitoring (including logs).<br>•&nbsp;Building and deployment of scripts requiring knowledge of Java/PHP and SQL.<br>•&nbsp;Generating ad-hoc and continuing reports.<br>•&nbsp;Ability to bring up and shut down the system gracefully.<br>•&nbsp;Ability to apply system patches.<br>•&nbsp;Occasional scripting.</P> <P>Requirements:<br>•&nbsp;Current high level clearance<br>•&nbsp;BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of experience.<br>•&nbsp;4 to 5 years of relevant IT experience.<br>•&nbsp;Ability to perform basic systems administration for both Windows and Unix systems.<br>•&nbsp;Ability to build reports using SQL and Java/PHP provided templates.<br>•&nbsp;Basic organizational skills.</P> <P>Fulcrum IT is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
