<TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=700 align=left leftmargin="0" topmargin="0"> <TBODY> <TR> <TD class=toppara colSpan=11 align=left> Smartronix, Inc. is seeking a senior information security specialist to support SOUTHCOM JTF-B in Honduras.  The candidate will be expected to provide information assurance and computer network security in a fast paced, dynamic environment.  Candidate must have an expert knowledge of information security principles as it applies to military networks, standards, and systems i.e. DISN, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS.   Under general direction, the candidate will be responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of IA products on the client’s local area network and enterprise level network.  Studies contractor IA products to determine those which best meet client needs; assists in presentation of information to management resulting in purchase and installation of IA hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment.  Manages IA product performance and maintains network security.  Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.  Installs all network software and IA products.  Evaluates, develops and maintains IA  systems.  Troubleshoots IA problems.  Establishes and implements IA policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company’s objectives.  Trains users on IA product operation.   Candidate will be expected to be the SME in all areas of IA to include:   The candidate shall disseminate and ensure implementation of IA policy, guidance, and training requirements.   The candidate shall support antivirus software updates and apply definitions to the network servers and workstations IAW Data Item No. A003, DI-IPSC-81442A.   The candidate shall implement and report Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance IAW Data Item No. A002, DI-MISC-80508B, and shall ensure Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA) are disseminated, reported, and complied with in accordance with established policy.   The candidate shall ensure all users meet the requisite favorable security investigations, clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and security responsibilities before granting access to the C4 Systems; ensure personnel receive system-specific and annual IA/CND awareness training.   The candidate shall ensure log files and audits are maintained and reviewed for all systems and that authentication policies are audited for compliance; prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, and SOPs concerning system security IAW Data Item No. A002, DI-MISC-80508B; review and evaluate the effects on security of system changes, including interfaces with other C4 Systems and document all changes.   The candidate shall ensure that all C4S within their area of responsibility are accredited, and develop or coordinate the development and support of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements, and initiate re-accreditation as required.   The candidate shall ensure configuration management for information management systems (IS) software (including C4S warning banners) and hardware is maintained and documented IAW applicable DoD and USSOUTHCOM regulations.   The candidate shall ensure system recovery processes are monitored and that security features and procedures are properly restored.  Report security violations and incidents to USSOUTHCOM ES-C4I TNCC.   The candidate shall comply with all IAVA notices.  All suspense elements and suspense dates shall be IAW CJCSI 6510.01E.  When extensions for compliance may be necessary, the contractor shall submit the request for an extension, with an impact statement, to the COR.  The government will forward extension request to USSOUTHCOM ES-C4I for final approval.  </TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left> </TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left>Requir <TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=700 align=left leftmargin="0" topmargin="0"> <TBODY> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left></TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=toppara colSpan=11 align=left> Demonstrated ability as IA SME Expert knowledge of IA principles and DoD policies and regulations governing such Knowledge of VMS Demonstrated ability to support antivirus software updates for servers and workstations Working knowledge with IAVAs as well as patching procedures Security+ certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of start of assignment</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>ed Skills </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
