Candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of information security principles as it applies to military networks, standards, and systems i.e. DISN, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS.&nbsp;&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">Under general direction, responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of IA products on the company’s local area network.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Studies contractor IA products to determine those which best meet company needs; assists in presentation of information to management resulting in purchase and installation of IA hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Manages IA product performance and maintains network security.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Installs all network software and IA products.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Evaluates, develops and maintains IA <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>systems.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Troubleshoots IA problems.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Establishes and implements IA policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company’s objectives.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The candidate shall ensure all users meet the requisite favorable security investigations, clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and security responsibilities before granting access to the C4 Systems; prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, and SOPs concerning system security IAW Data Item No. A002, DI-MISC-80508B; review and evaluate the effects on security of system changes, including interfaces with other C4 Systems and document all changes.</span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The candidate shall ensure that all C4S within their area of responsibility are accredited, and develop or coordinate the development and support of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements, and initiate re-accreditation as required.</span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt;
