Job Title: Network Engineer

The Systems Engineer will partner with&nbsp;key roles (e.g. PM, Engineers, SMEs, etc.) to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to our customers preferred IT Strategy and leverage common solutions and services, to meet key project goals. Within the solution development lifecycle, this role will be responsible for solution evaluation and selection, project estimates supporting the business case, high level design, envision a technical strategy and lead solution delivery efforts. This role will provide guidance and architectural oversight during the detailed architecture design, application design, build, test and deploy phases.</span></P></TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left>&nbsp;</TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left>Required Skills </TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=toppara colSpan=11 align=left> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Systems Engineer will be responsible for the many of the following: </span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Deep understanding of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices </span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Ability to gather customer requirements and translate those requirements into the development of the technical solution.</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Assess and recommend architectural designs/changes to existing systems.</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Ability to lead teams in the design and deployment of complex solution involving multiple vendor technologies.</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Previous experience designing, maintaining and troubleshooting networks based on Cisco requirement (e.g. 6500's, PIX, ASA, switches)</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Network technology/concepts include: BGP, EIRGP, IPSec, VLANs, switching topology, DNS, PKI, WAN protocols</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">Deep understanding in multiple technology areas below: </span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Microsoft Operating Desktop and Server Systems, Microsoft Active Directory</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Enterprise Messaging (e.g. email, remote access, mobile devices)</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Virtualization Environments to include large scale deployment and design for server, application and desktop virtualization</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Experience designing and implementing storage solutions in a large enterprise environment including: High performance and available SAN, NAS, CAS and Archive/VTL tiered storage systems</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP) </span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Understanding of systems management concepts, processes and standards (eg SNMP); capacity/performance management and tuning; and storage and network management</span></span></P> <P style="MARGIN: 6pt 0in 3pt" class=MsoHeader><span><span style="FONT-SIZE: x-small">- Tier 4 Support of enterprise environments</span></span></P> <P><span>- Familiarity the principles of ITIL and Service Management</span></P></TD></TR> <TR> <TD class=topparaHeading colSpan=11 align=left>&nbsp;</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
