ARAMARK Healthcare is seeking an Clinical Engineering Manager for a 900 bed medical center in Houston, TX.
As CE Manager, you will manage, support and direct the day-to-day operational program of the Biomedical Department including the following responsibilities:
- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
- Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with Clinical Technology Services.
- Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with team members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, representing management in purchase negotiations.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
- Oversee activities directly related to providing services.
- Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required.
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management or Biomedical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in the CE management field preferably in a hospital environment.
- Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Customer and PersonalService - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
