Description:Desired Candidate will provide the technical and programmatic leadership of a large engineering and technical services contract supporting Navy Electronic Warfare and Informational Operations, including but not limited to, airborne, surface, subsurface, expeditionary and irregular electronic warfare product areas. Candidate will interface regularly with government customer base on both strategic and daily business issues and serve as their advocate. Candidate will participate in joint strategy meetings and must demonstrate the ability to help the customer grow their business.Responsible for managing cost, schedule and performance on specific government or commercial contracts. Integrates all functions and activities necessary to perform the contract to meet customer requirements. Directs team personnel, manages costs, ensures contract and schedule compliance, and serves as the principal customer interface. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and tracking major aspects of the contract including customer satisfaction. Interfaces with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel. Must provide proactive leadership and direction of personnel performing complex tasks. Plans, implements, and maintains a contract staffing plan and selects and recruits key team members. Assesses the effectiveness of the contract team and makes changes when needed. Assesses the performance of subordinates and mentors them to improve performance. Oversees personnel training and promotion to positions of increased responsibility on team. A BS EE or other technical discipline (engineering, math or science)required, MS EE or other technical discipline desired. Ten years demonstrated electronic warfare experience required, preferrably a combination of Naval operational and acquisition experience. Candidate must have the ability to lead and manage large EW system development and sustainment activities. Must be capable of serving as the customer's advocate to Navy organizations and those of the other Services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Must have a Secret Security Clearance. It is anticipated that a Top Secret Security Clearance may be necessary as well. |
