<P>Position Description:
<P>Leads a team of five Capture Managers for a business group within MPRI, focused on business areas of strategic communication, logistics & acquisition, training & education, staff augmentation, modeling & simulations, intelligence operations and human resources & recruiting. This position is responsible for leading and directing the team, and allocating resources for planning and leading business capture efforts that result in the award of new business from a variety of Federal, State and Commercial clients. This position also serves as a Capture Manager, leading functionally diverse teams charged with developing business capture plans that include win strategies and themes, customer contact plans, price-to-win estimates, competitive analysis assessments, and teaming strategies. As Capture Manager, this person plays a key role in proposal development by ensuring customer and opportunity-specific information, and win strategies and themes are integrated into the proposal. In addition the Director, Capture Management prepares and conducts appropriate business pipeline gate reviews.
<P>Minimum Qualifications:
<P>Five years business development, capture management and proposal writing experience.
<P>Strong knowledge of Federal business acquisition process and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
<P>Proven ability to form and lead teams
<P>Proven leadership, strong organization management skills, and ability to operate independently.
<P>Bachelors degree
<P>Excellent oral and written communication skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite
<P>CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Secret
<P>Desired Qualifications:
<P>Masters Degree
<P>Completion of Shipley or similar training in capturing and winning Federal business
<P>Familiarity with the use of “Virtual Proposal Centers”
