*********SECRET DoD CLEARANCE REQUIRED******************************** <P>Senior Back End Developer <P>Description: MPRI / L3 Communications is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help spearhead innovation on Army.mil. <P>Responsibilities: <P>- Work closely with small team of other developers <P>- Build OOP PHP code on top of the Code Igniter Framework <P>- Write optimized queries for MySQL database retrieval and input <P>- Document development practices and code. <P>- Support backend development for the following projects http://www.army.mil, http://my.amy.mil, and http://army.mil/core <P>- Perform minimum system admin of dev environment <P>Qualifications: <P>- 3+ years of experience as a Web developer using PHP or equivelent <P>- Creative thinker good at solving problems with code <P>- Experience using SQL queries <P>- OOP PHP Web programming <P>- 1+ year of XHTML &amp; Javascript experience (jQuery a plus) <P>- Ability to document code clearly <P>- System Administration and Linux experience a plus <P>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, dealing with both technical and non-technical personal <P>- Comfortable developing in a Mac environment <P>- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar/relevant field preferred <P>You will be joining Army.mil team which is the most heavily trafficked military Web site with an estimated viewership of 3 million unique users a month.
