Description:Lockheed Martin (LM) IS&GS, Readiness & Stability Operations is seeking a qualified individual to support the Marine Corps Training & Education Command (TECOM) as a Subject Matter Expert providing technical and operational advice and support on the training resources available with recommended methodologies to better design and safely support training throughout deployment preparations to the Training Support Center (TSC), Range & Training Area Management (RTAM) Division aboard MCBH, Kaneohe Bay, HI and supporting all training areas in the Hawaii AOR.The exceptionally qualified candidate will have experience planning, implementing, and assisting USMC Unit Commanders and Operation Officers with safely integrating Marine Corps training systems and devices into the unit pre-deployment training plan and in compliance with MCO 3570.1B (Range Safety). The selected candidate will access base, range, service, and joint service training resources to enable and enhance unit training plans, and assist with schedules and the coordination of external training resources, training simulators, ranges, and devices. He/she will also support PTP activities, requiring sufficient planning skills to offer integration methods to unit leadership without negatively impacting overall training objectives. Ideal candidates will have a keen understanding of USMC training range capabilities and the linkage to Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), as well as range standard operating procedures, regulations, and range safety requirements. He/she will provide project management and exercise planning support expertise to effectively support Unit led PTP and will facilitate the conduct of exercises. He/She will work with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and training cadre to develop training exercises and scenarios based on unit requirements. He/she will provide assessments of training effectiveness toward specific USMC training goals in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE). He/she will ensure that training resources are available/scheduled to meet training requirements, and assist in planning a total systems integration to meet all training requirements. He/she will provide expertise in intelligence scenario development, joint operations scenario development, and development of theater specific scenarios and the employment of C4I. He/she will serve as the liaison between the training command, training units, and other contractors/agencies to ensure exercise forces receive optimal support, relevant training, and after action reviews. He/she will develop a turn key operation for the support, maintenance, and warehousing of training resources and training devices. This will be a full-time position located at the Training Support Center, MCBH, Kaneohe Bay, HI. This position is anticipated to be available on or about 12 July 2010, and is contingent upon contract award, funding, and acceptance of candidate qualifications by the Government Contracting Office Representative. New Hire and Rehire candidates for this position will be offered the LMOS benefit program. Internal candidates for this position will be able to retain their current benefit program if they are participating in the LMOS, LMES or Corporate benefit programs currently. Other internal candidates will be offered the LMOS benefit program. |
