The Director of Aviation Instruction will provide transition flight training and currency flight instruction for<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>rated pilots and will assist the host nation in developing civil use rotary wing aviation employment doctrine. The position is expected to lead to development of additional training and safety programs, airfield operations, and will provide oversight for a small maintenance training program at the organizational and installation levels. <br><br><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-no-proof: yes">Rated Rotary Wing Instructor Pilot (military or civilian), with at least 500 hours of flight time. Spanish language fluency at least at the 3/3 level. Flight Experience in 1 or more of the following helicopters: OH-58C/Bell206L, OH-58D/Bell 407, UH-1/UH-1N/Bell 412. At least 1 year of Instructor Pilot experience. Willing to post to overseas assignment for at least 1 year. Desirable factors include aircraft currency, ratings in multiengine aircraft, certification in allied areas, such as a flight safety officer, SAR, over water flight experience, experience as a training developer, and Spanish language capabilites beyond the minimums established for this position. </span></span></span>
